I just started going to the gym with my friend Leslie. She is a gym veteran so to speak and is guiding me through a workout routine that is good and healthy for me. I think this could work out this time. For the longest time I've always loathed going to the gym. Exercising with people I don't know has always made me really self-conscious. I don't even know what it is but as soon as I get on a machine and i look around and see all these people doing the same thing I always felt stupid, as if I was doing something wrong. It's all very strange.... :\ Anywho, this time is different. Me and Leslie go to the gym in her apartment complex every other day at around 10 PM (it's a 24 hr gym) so it's always just the two of us, which makes me feel better. Yesterday I weighed myself using the gym scales so we'll say I officially weigh in at 151 lbs. Let's see how I do with my new exercise routine and my replacing of one meal for a tasty salad. *fingers crossed*
Also, because we've been doing exercise late at night, I finally got tired enough to go to bed BEFORE 6 AM. I went to bed at 2 AM :) Aaaand woke up at 10:30 AM o_O unusually early for me... but that means I'll be up for woot's theme announcement. I hope I get a shirt printed with them this time :D
