I started officially working at Kohls yesterday. It's your run-of-the-mill cashiering job which i already have the major case of do.not.want. BUT it'll help pay for my stuff next semester so whatever. My first day was deadly though.. 9.5 hours of training... my god i had nightmares lol. Today was only a 4 hour shift so things were cool. Best part: Paycheck every Friday :D Woo!

Oh yeah, so I finally ordered my 3.5K computer *pocket is still sobbing from teh rape* so I have a shiny new 17" Macbook Pro to look forward to. I think I have a name picked out for it. Some of you may know that I have a very strange obsession with Harry Potter (lol) and I name all of my electronics after characters. Well my laptop's name is Snape <3 (iPods names are: Sirius and Remus, Wii is called Luna, Desktop is called Moody, Car is named Hedwig, Celphone was named Aberforth....and so on) Well, seeing as Macs are evil...but sexy (and ridiculously expensive) I figured Lucius would be a good name for it (plus i wanted to keep it on the Deatheater theme) :)

Unfortunately that means I will be parting with my beloved Snape *cries* My brother is going to college next semester (my little baby brother is going to college, WTF) so he needs a laptop that sucks at playing World of Warcraft (he got addicted. grades dropped... it became a problem). So my poor little defenseles Snape will be in his capable hands. Snaaaaaape *cries* Sadness.

Lucius will be coming with a free iPod touch though, not sure of a name for it yet. I'm guessing I should name it James since I already had Remus and Sirius...but I'll have to get a feel for it to see if the name fits (I'm SO weird o_o)

Aaaanywho, I am planning on trading in my Wii for a PSP. The Wii was a gift from Jason and I don't really ever use it :| None of the games really interest me and the games that do look fun are ridiculously expensive. I think the only thing i like about the Wii is making miis. Plus I've been wanting a PSP since it was announced years ago. The PSP Go! doesn't really look all that interesting for me to get it....


Finally, I'm putting the finishing touches on my whimsy jar :) I just found out who my sekkrit swapper is today :D Yay :D Will post pictures when swap is over :)

And Lastly my Summer list progress:

• Loose 10-20 lbs - Throughout the semester I've managed to gain about 20 lbs... so I'll be dieting and exercising to try and get those off. (my pants are tight too...) Lost 3-5 lbs so far
• Travel to Vermont- Me and Dan are planning a roadtrip to his hometown in Vermont. It's a 23 hour drive. I still haven't told my parents, so I'll have to add that to my to-do list. Told my parents, they are okay with it. Trip was originally set for the beginning of the summer but has henceforth been moved to the end of the summer.
• Get a job! - SO done :)
• Buy a MacBookPro- On its way!!!
• Learn to use a Mac- Pending (see above, lol)
• Go to JACON- It's an anime convention in Orlando. I went there last year and it was a blast, so I'd like to go again. Was SUPER fun! :D
  
• Learn to knit- Buying suplies with paycheck :)
  
• Learn to paperpiece!- See "Knitting"
• Pay off my creditcard DX I've brought it down to $316, so if i get a job this summer, I'm sure I'll make at least $316 to pay it off... UGH DX

I called the borders I work at today asking for my schedule for the week and they told me that I hadn't been scheduled at all. This is the second week I've gone without any hours! WTF is going on??? I don't recall ever screwing up majorly at work! Sure I've been a few minutes late every once in a while but who isnt!? Am I being fired? Wouldn't they need to tell me or give me a warning beforehand? I've never been given a warning of me doing an inadequate job! WHAT IS GOING ON???? I can't go two weeks without pay! I have bills to pay, groceries to buy, gas for my car! UGH!!!!

I got back from work at 11 am today and decided to take a "short" nap. I awoke 6 hours later.... *sigh*

I just submitted my two weeks notice at Waldenbooks. I got a job over at the Tyrone Square Mall Borders whch is 20 minutes away from my dorm. Woot! I'm gonna miss my little store though! :(

It's way too early for me =_= I had to take the morning shift today *grumble grumble* I hate the morning shift! Because:

1. Have to be up at 8 am
2. Have to go to the bank *ugh*
3. Will be all alone manning the store for the first 4 hours
4. I always have to pee before someone comes to relieve me
5. I always manage to have 2 people in line while i'm helping a difficult customer and the phone starts ringing
6. I get bored
7. I get cold
8. I get tired

I got kicked out of the house :D Not because of something I did wrong mind you, but because my mom wats my grandma to move in and there are not enough room so I get to move out! woooooooo! I get to move in with my cousin and maybe saint_ann  . Omg I'm so excited woooo! Moar updates coming later I guess

Also, trying to get a picture of the horror mullet but my boss's schedule is messed up DX I'll get it soon though! OMG it's so bad XD

So I totally forgot to post about this weeks ago but my old manager got transferred to a different store and we just recently hired a new manager. Oh. My. God. The guy is nice and all but he is a southern man with half a jerri curl mullet. Let me explain, he is blad and has a curly mullet he likes to keep wet looking. SEMI BALD JERRI CURL MULLET!!! D8 it seriously looks hideous and gross >.< I feel like an idiot for judging the man but holy frick! That hairstyle is godawful D:

Ok, so I got 95% of my stuff done in time! Woot! I still have a few school things to take care of but not so much that I want to explode.

In related news, I applied for SFCC graduation! I still can't believe I'm done with my Associate of Arts degree o_O Alas, an AA in studio art is worthless and its only purpose is to serve as a transfer excuse but I'm choosing to overlook that fact for now.

In Harry Potter land news, DVD comes out next week! Flippin' sweetness. I'm not sure whether to go for the Wal*Mart special pack (it comes with nifty stuffs but no 2-Disc!!!!) or the two disc limited edition... aaaaah I want those bookmarks AND the two discs....

Funny Story of the Week:

I was shelving books at work and you know those little gift boxes that come with stickers and bonsai trees... Well I saw this one with a creepy blue-collar looking cartoon man with glasses sitting on a leather chair. I look at the title and read: "The Rapist in a Box." I stared at this box for like two minutes with horror. Who would sell a rapist in a box (even if it's just a tiny plastic rapist)!? So I'm sitting there with this horrified look on my face and my manager walks up to me and asks me what was wrong. I point at the rapist in a box and ask him why on Earth we carry that and if its even legal and he stares at me and says "You mean the therapist in a box? I think you might need one..." and walks away. Therapist... I need more sleep X)

Hey guys, I'm reporting once again from Voldemort. He is behaving very well now, though I still love my Snape (he may be glitchy but I luff him) Aaanywho, my professor is giving us a lecture on fonts, nothing entirely shocking as I already know more or less how to handle it (where was I going with this sentence? Oh yeah!) RL post!

Overdraft fees are the devil. I cannot even begin to explain how on Earth I managed to owe my parents nearly $600, but this is my current situation. All I can say is that Bank of America is a fucking bitch. I don't get a paycheck until 3 weeks from today... Oh jolly good fun. I also have to take that stupid retarded Computer Literacy Test today... fun.

In other news, my manager got into a car accident and lucky for me, he decided I should fill in for him. So hooray for cashflow!

Alright enough about my RL bitching, on to the fun stuff!

Prophecy was one of the most amazing Potter experience in my life. I could not have imagined a better time. Meeting everyone at long last was great and I miss them all terribly :( I cannot even begin to explain what went on. All I know is I got around 10 hours of sleep during the whole thing and it was bloody fantastic. Lukey and Bonnie are insanely hilarious. Four Kings is the most intense game evar (specially when you are missing a King and do not realize it until the end of the game). From now on, saying "Obliviate" when drunk is a must. I found out not all Snapes like to be hugged. Hufflepuffs are insanely vicious people. Podcast people are snobs. Oliver Boyd is overrated (YES I SAID IT, HE IS AND YOU KNOW IT!) You know you are wasted when there are pictures of you with your underwear on your head. Never go into a vendor room unless you want to go bankrupt. Street signs are considered weapons of mass destruction unless hidden in a trash bag. Canadian money is hard to count. Never break out into South Park's "Blame Canada" song nor "There is no Canada like French Canada" around Torontonians. The Elder Wand is known as the Sodomy Stick. Cashiers do not find the humor in selling "Canned Beaver." Hippodactyls are hilarious. Shoes are not required. Yelling "reducto" at a chess piece is fun and approved of. Feasts are overrated and breakfasts are too early. IMAX is awesome. Posing with a character is a 30 minute job. Never give bloody Harry a mind freeze. Liquor Stores will forever be named "Bottleos." The Hufflepunks is the nicest wrocker on the planet. Wrock Fangirls are violent and scary. There will never be enough words to encompass the awesomeness of Prophecy. 2010 is too far away.

Also, today I went to work as HogwartsUniform!Ginny a lot more people recognized my costume. I'm wearing that one again tomorrow and the Quidditch one for my last day there :3

So the other day while I was working we had this annoying little kid in the store. He was looking around everywhere, pulling books off the shelves and whatnot. He was getting on my nerves already and I was trying to keep my cool. Suddenly, the little kid walks up to me and asked me something and totally threw me off. This is the conversation that followed:

"Excuse me lady, do you work here?"

"Yeah"

"Can I ask you a question?"

*impatient nod*

"If you do a good spell to protect your family, are you going against God?"

"... Er. I don't think I'm the right person to answer that question *flustered mumblings* You should ask your parents"

"Oh... ok"

So the little kid scampers off to ask his dad and I keep doing my work. A little while later I star hearing this really annoying swishing noise. I realized it was someone playing with our toy wands. I go over to further investigate the source of my annoyance and lo' and behold, it was the same annoying kid. He looks at me, his face full of excitement and says "I'm a big Harry Potter fan! Can't you tell?" [insert "DAWWWWRRRR HOW CUUUUTE ^__________________^"] So I ask him if he knows any spells. His face was priceless, as if Christmas had come early. He says that he doesn't know any but then says "I knew magic was real! I want to learn what Harry Potter does! My birthday (I'm assuming his 11th) is coming soon, I can't wait!" I really didn't know what to tell him, he looked so disgustingly adorable that I couldn't take it anymore. So I went to the backroom. Honestly, there's so much cuteness one can take.... ahhh to be a naive kid again...

Okay so I've been insanely busy and distracted lately X) Tomorrow Later today is my last day of summer classes, I have no class on Tuesday then my finals on Wednesday. Basically, I've been doing arts and crafts all summer long. That's what you get when you take 2-dimensional design and 3-dimensional design at once.

Mkay so today was awesome. Here is a list of why it is awesome:

1- I stole a piece of sidewalk for my found object trophy
2- Last month I turned in $50 to Target's lost and found and no one claimed them so they're now mine
3- I bought some Quidditch gloves
4- I got 2 piercings (now I have 7!)
5- I'm being trained as a temporary manager for Waldenbooks
6- I picked up my Quidditch costume
7- I found out my local library is throwing a bunch of Harry Potter activities before I leave for NYC
8- I started my diet again

Like, woah. Major lack of updates on my part. Summer vacation is pretty boring as of now. I'm taking two summer classes to rack up credit hours for my pre-requisites. They're both art classes so it's really laid back. I'm taking 2D design and 3D design. Lol, and I'm making a giant snitch out of clay and wood XD It's turning out pretty effin' sweet, I can't wait to pop it in the kiln! (I hope it doesn't blow up though o_O) OMG OMG this makes me a Potter!!!! ZOMG I'm SO getting a shirt that says potter X)

In other Potter news (lol) I took my Quidditch robes to the local sports store to get the varsity letters ironed on today. They should be done on Friday but since I won't be here (I'll explain why in a bit) I guess I'll pick it up on Tuesday. All i need to do now is embroider "weasley" on the front (since the iron on letters were too big for that). When that's done I'll have all my stuff ready for Prophecy (I don't think I'll be able to afford the quidditch pads... *sad*)

Waldenbooks is amazing, I'm absolutely in love with it. It's so nice and quiet, and all I do is shelve books and hum to myself. I guess it'll get boring eventually but I get so easily entertained reading the book summaries on the back ^^"  I've been wanting to read spiderwick chronicles now XD So that'll be the next book I check out 8D   (We're allowed to check out 2 books for two weeks)

Lastly, I'll be leaving for Georgia this Friday early in the morning. Me and my family will be meeting up with some old friends (my broddas!!!!) I'm so excited, we're going to go to Six Flags!!! Wooooo! I might get a new piercing with on of my broddas (they're twins) and we all might go and see PotC in Atlanta. This weekend is looking like a fun one :D

A stack of heavy comic books nearly fell on top of me while I was shelving. It was pretty funny X)

ZOMG Waldenbooks is selling this box thingy with a replica time turner for $8.59!!!!!!! I'm gonna buy it tomorrow :D

I forgot to fill in a time off request at Waldenbooks and I was scheduled to work on a weekend I will be out of State :( There are only 5 employees and only 2 of them (whom I've never met) *might* be able to fill in for me. Poop, Any suggestions if they can't?

Whoo boy, I start summer classes on Monday o_O *sigh* I've been super busy with my two jobs and I am exhausted! But boy do I love working at Waldenbooks ^___________^ 33% discounts rock! ANd! I get to check out any book I want for 2 weeks *nerdy squee of glee* Well, I shall continue working on a few commissions now :3 I MUST say I am enjoying this one thoroughly :D

Oooh! I'll be going to Walt Disney World this weekend! Jack Sparrow Magic Kingdom here I come! Yaaaaay! Ooooh! And I want to wish all the PR peeps a safe and awesome trip/stay in New Orleans :D
