So, a funny from last night...

I got home from dinner, and a brief side trip to Wal-mart, grabbed my lappy from my room, and my current project....

So, I am sitting in the living room last night with mom...chatting on FB, watching TV....and a commercial comes on...

For a Crayola Crayon Maker.

My eyes lit up and I turned to mom and said: "OMG, that is SO COOOOL!!!"

Mum was laughing at me for a good minute...then admitted that she bought me one for Xmas because she KNEW it would be something I would LOVE (especially since I love my crayons..)...but she told me about it because she was afraid I would go out and buy it

But the fact that she KNOWS me SO well was pretty funny!!!

Now I can't wait!

Censoring information in a Portfolio

I've been lurking this community for a while, I looked around and couldn't find a topic on this. If there's a topic and I missed it, I'll withdraw this post. :)

I'm looking at my portfolio and I have a lot of flyers, banners and business card design.

I was wondering about putting phone numbers, etc, under a mosaic when showing a portfolio.

I currently censor numbers and addresses when putting pieces on the web - I leave emails and websites clear. For clients and employers I meet in person, I don't censor out anything. There are some cases where I would censor a piece of info anyway, like if I know a number is out of date or an email is inactive.

Working on my current display makes me wonder how other folks handle this... if there are guidelines for this?

Do you never censor info in your portfolio, or censor in certain instances? Is it appropriate; when?

Short Entry before I get the gang up

We are off to Connecticut today to return Ariel to her dorm room but first we are visiting the Connecticut Davids. So I have to get everyone up in about 5 minutes because we have a ferry to catch.

Yesterday was a family day where we did lots of stuff as a family including a holiday parade. It was nice to do so. Caroline is going to miss Ariel a lot. They had a sleep-over in Ariel’s room yesterday.

This week is all about getting ready for Caroline’s birthday party which will be on her birthday this year. I think I am going to plot out the week on the boat. While Peter works on whatever he has to work on with this computer.

I also want to get our Holiday decorations up this week along with taking care of the leaves on our lawn. A lot to do and only 24 hour days to do it in.

I am grateful for less wind today.

Any word on whether Mugwort interferes with birth control? I'm on Implanon and would like to try it. I'm hesitant because I know that St. John's Wort interferes, and these two herbs seem to have similar properties regarding sleep and they're both considered emmenagogues (they both stimulate blood flow in the uterus... Mugwort even moreso, it would seem).
